Zucchini Hummus

This recipe is courtesy of Joanne Gero of VibeAlive

This recipe has quickly become one of my go to staple foods.  It is super easy to make and very easily digestible which makes it a superb choice in my books.  The zucchini hummus is so versatile too as it can be used as a dip for fresh vegetables (shown here) or it can be put into lettuce wraps, used instead of a sauce for raw pizza’s and great on raw crackers.

2 zucchini peeled and chopped
3/4 cup raw tahini
1/4 -1 /2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup of organic first cold pressed olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp – 1 tbsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin

Sprinkle with paprika

In high speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend until thick and smooth.

If you are looking to learn more about raw foods and how you too can incorporate them into your own life, Joanne will soon be conducting a 7 Day Raw Food Challenge.  Not only will she be teaching you how to nourish your body but there will be a private forum for constant support and answers to questions, recipes will also be provided and I am very excited to announce that I will be a part of your 7 day challenge as I will be providing daily workout and restoration videos.  Contact me if this sounds like something you would like more information on and I will send it to you once Joanne and I have finalized the program.

Take care my friends,
